Der Chardonnay Le Grand 2022 ist Walliser Gold im Glas: sonnengereifte Frucht, feiner Schmelz, alpine Frische und eine elegante Tiefe, die sofort zeigt, warum dieser Wein zur Linie Le Grand gehört.

On the nose, it opens with yellow apple, ripe peach, lemon zest and a hint of bright flowers. With a little air, finer nuances emerge: roasted hazelnut, delicate vanilla, brioche and a cool, stony minerality that recalls the barren rocks and sun-warmed terraces of Valais.

On the palate, it is dry, powerful and yet precise. The yellow fruit is juicy, the acidity brings tension, the body gives the wine volume and the creamy melt carries it elegantly into length. Nothing seems random: fruit, freshness, texture and mineral pull interlock cleanly.

A Chardonnay for large fish dishes, shellfish, grilled chicken, veal, creamy risottos, mushroom dishes or festive aperitifs with aged cheese and warm puff pastry.

Serving suggestion: enjoy at around 12 °C. Serve in a glass that is not too small and give it a few minutes of air – this Chardonnay rewards patience with depth.
