MG Apego – Chardonnay 150 cl, AOC Zürichsee

MG Apego is the magnum version of this distinctive Chardonnay from the Wäck vineyard in Uetikon on Lake Zurich.

The finest grapes are selected in several passes and vinified in small batches directly in wood. Apego then matures for one year in barrique before being bottled unfiltered.

In the glass, the wine is refined, complex and layered. Williams pear meets subtle smoky notes, precise minerality and an elegant bitterness on the long finish. Despite the extended ageing in wood, the oak remains discreet and allows fruit and origin to stay at the forefront.

The 150 cl magnum highlights the wine’s depth and ageing potential and is ideal for special occasions or sharing at the table.
