CD Chardonnay, AOC Zürichsee

CD is a finely structured Chardonnay from the Wigarten vineyard in the Wäck site in Uetikon on Lake Zurich.

The vines grow in a sheltered microclimate on deep, nutrient rich soils. In the cellar, the wine is spontaneously fermented, gently matured in wood and bottled unfiltered.

In the glass, CD is fresh, mineral and elegant. Subtle smoky and toasted notes add depth without overpowering the clarity and freshness of the Uetikon terroir.

A Chardonnay with fine structure, tension and good ageing potential. Ideal with lobster, seafood and refined, minimalist cuisine.
