Süd RS Riesling Sylvaner, AOC Zürich

Süd RS is a Riesling Sylvaner from the Äntschberg in Kloten, the city’s last remaining vineyard.

The old vines grow on a distinctive south facing slope with poor, limestone rich soils. The warm exposure brings ripe yellow fruit, while the limestone provides freshness, structure and precise mineral tension.

In the cellar, Süd RS is spontaneously fermented with wild yeasts, aged for an extended period on fine lees and bottled unfiltered. Floral aromas and delicate muscat notes meet ripe fruit, freshness and mineral grip.

A distinctive Riesling Sylvaner with a strong sense of origin. Ideal as an aperitif, with fish, contemporary cuisine or light dishes.
